I need to change or cancel my policy.  What should I do?

Everglades Financial is your premium finance company.  For any questions you have about your insurance policy coverages, cancellations, etc., please reach out to your insurance agent.

What if I have multiple carriers for different policies?

Everglades Financial will provide premium financing for multiple carriers on one premium finance agreement meaning the insured only makes one monthly payment, saving time and effort.

What is Premium Financing?

Premium Financing is a solution to the high cost of insurance premiums for businesses in which premiums are paid over the course of time, rather than upfront.

My insurance policy canceled, why am I still getting billed?

If the policy cancels the account remains active until the return premium is returned to Everglades Financial.  We will contact your agent and/or insurance company to obtain cancellation information.

Everglades Financial will apply any return premium received toward the unpaid loan balance. You will continue to receive bills and other notifications until the premium finance loan is paid in full.  Simply put, a cancellation of the insurance policy does not cancel the loan simultaneously.

Why finance my premium instead of paying it in full?

By financing your insurance premiums, you are able to make flexible monthly payments instead of having to pay your insurance premium in full. This allows policyholders to better manage their capital and maximizes cash flow. Interest associated with financing the premium are typically tax deductible.

Is my insurance policy reinstated?

Your insurance carrier is the only party that can reinstate insurance coverage. If a cancellation notice was issued on your account due to non-payment, making a payment will not automatically reinstate your policy coverage.

Please contact your insurance agent directly to confirm your coverage was reinstated.
